I'm David R.D. Thompson, founder of Taranis Aerospace Consultants Ltd, and a Chartered Manager as well as a Fellow of both the Chartered Management Institute and the Institute of Leadership.

Taranis Aerospace wasn't created overnight — it evolved naturally from a lifetime in aviation. What began as a hands-on career at the very start of the industry ladder has grown into a professional network and consultancy that spans continents, disciplines, and decades of hard-earned experience.

From apprentice to the boardroom, I've worked across a remarkable spectrum of aerospace activity — from front-line operational support and modification programmes to corporate leadership and strategic business development at international level.
